Our next event will the be the award of our Crystal Eagle to Phil Boyer, a man who has worked tirelessly to support, promote and protect general aviation throughout his career at AOPA. This year will mark a change in venue for the Crystal Eagel award as we will be making the presentation during the final banquet for the AOPA Expo. We would love for you all to come and be part of this wonderful evening, but you will need to purchase your tickets directly from the AOPA website. And don't wait to long as this event generally sells out quickly.

Our most recent event was the fall luncheon, held at the Summit Steak House,on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 with Kim Becker. Kim is the Assistant Director for SJC and gave a wonderful presentation on the ongoing development at San Jose.

In addition to learning about the events at SJC, attendees enjoyed a great lunch and the opportunity to catch up with old friends and make some new ones.

• Tour the Cal-Pacific Airmotive P-51 manufacturing faculty at Salinas Airport
• Tour of the Moffett Historical Museum Western Aerospace Museum
