The luncheon was held at Michael's At Shoreline, and honored the irrepresible "Fly Girls" that flew nearly every type of military aircraft during WW2. Following their primary flight training in PT-19, BT-13, AT-6, AT-17 and UF-78, the WASP's were assigned to deliver new aircraft from the manufacturing site to military bases all over the country. It is estimated that the WASP's flew more than 60 million miles over the course of their service.
The Aero Club members and guests enjoyed a delightful afternoon with these wonderful woman. Video and photos from the event are avaliable below.
